The Foo Fighters and Bruce Springsteen celebrated Veterans Day by hitting the National Mall in the nation’s capital to perform at the Concert For Valor, a special tribute to those who served our country.
But, they didn’t do some patriotic track, instead they went a little controversial and performed Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son.”
Why is this song controversial, you ask? Well, the song is both anti-war and anti-draft and it’s being performed at a concert for those who volunteered to fight in wars, including the Afghanistan and Iraq one, that many thought were unjust.
